Return Policy

14-Day Return Policy For Melba Mae

To start a return, please email info@melbamaeboutique.com BEFORE shipping your item(s). Please include your full name, order number, the item(s) you are wishing to return and reason for returning. We will refuse any packages sent without prior contact. 

REFUNDS

 Refunds will be issued in the form of store credit. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. You will also be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Returns must be received at our warehouse and postmarked within 14 days of the delivery date.

You are responsible for tracking your return package. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). Once approved, your refund will be processed, and a store credit will automatically be applied to your account. Once we receive your return, please allow 2-3 business days to process your return for store credit.

**Please note**: If a gift card is used to pay for some or all of the order, the refunded amount will go back to the gift card first. Any remaining funds will be issued in the form of a store credit. 

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A RETURN:

Your item must be unworn, unwashed, scent free, with no stains, with all tags attached and in the same condition that you received it.

Please Note: We will not accept items that have been washed. Please be sure to follow exact washing instructions to ensure the garment remains in good condition.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

All sale items, jewelry, accessories, hats, Favorite Things Boxes, bralettes, bodysuits and beauty products are FINAL SALE. 

If an item is deemed final sale on our website or social media it will not be eligible for return. Any item discounted 25% or more is considered final sale. 

DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If you believe that you have received a defective item, please contact us at info@melbamaeboutique.com within 3 business days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and images of the issue.

Please Note: Items cannot be washed, without tags or worn when claimed as damaged.

HOW TO SHIP BACK YOUR RETURN

For clothing, you can utilize the mailer bag or box your order came in if possible. All shoes must be returned in their original shoebox (if they came in one) and placed inside an additional protective shipping box. 

 Please include your original packing slip with your return order. If you no longer have your packing slip, please write your first and last name and your order number on a piece of paper and include that with your return. You can find your order number in your order confirmation email. 

RETURN ADDRESS

Once you have been in contact with us about your return (email info@melbamaeboutique.com), we will provide you with our return shipping address. 

LOCAL RETURN DROP OFF

Once you have first been in contact with us about your return, we now offer a local return drop off in Bluff City. Once you have emailed us, we will give you return drop off location, instructions and the available return times. 

Returns may NOT be brought back to Country Folk. This is solely a pickup location. 

Local Pickup Info

Currently we offer a local pickup at Country Folk in Vandalia, IL and at Bluff Equipment in Vandalia, IL. You can select one of these options at checkout.

When checking out, select the local pickup option. Select your preferred pickup location. Then choose the date you wish to pick up your order from the available dates below on the calendar. After you select your pick up date, you will need to select the allotted pick up times available for that date.

The shipping address will already be filled in with the address of either Country Folk or Bluff Equipment. Click the “continue to shipping” button. The shipping method should then say “local pickup”. If this is correct, proceed to payment. **Make sure you select “use a different billing address” when entering your payment details. After you have placed your order, you will get a confirmation email of your order. Your item(s) will then be available for local pickup on your selected date during the allotted time you selected. 

**No Same Day Pickups** Orders need to be placed before 5pm in order to be picked up the next business day. This is to allow us time to process your order.

𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐤 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐮𝐩 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨: Pickup orders placed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday will be available for local pickup on Tuesday at 11 am. Local pickup is available at Country Folk in Vandalia, IL Tuesday-Friday from 11 am-4 pm and Saturday from 10:30am-1pm. Country Folk is closed on Sunday and Monday. Just walk up to the checkout counter and give your name (: 

𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐟𝐟 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐮𝐩 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨: Pickup orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be available for local pickup on Monday at 8 am. Local pickup is available at Bluff Equipment in Vandalia, IL (located along U.S. Route 40 in Bluff City) Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm and Saturday from 8am-2pm. Bluff Equipment is closed on Sunday. We have a pickup box outside the front door. If there is poor weather outside we will move the pickup box right inside the front door. Your package will have your name on it (: 

**Please pick up your orders on the date you select.** This prevents orders from stacking up, thank you for understanding! Please note that returns must be made within 14 days of the selected pick up date. 

 Please note, all orders must be paid ahead of time for local pickup.
