Orders will be shipped within 1-2 business days after placing your order, and typically take 2-4 business days to arrive. All packages are shipped through USPS from Vandalia, Illinois. You will receive an email with a tracking number once your item has been shipped.

We offer local pickup at:

  • Country Folk (Vandalia, IL)
  • Bluff Equipment (Vandalia, IL)

HOW IT WORKS

  • Select your preferred location at checkout
  • Choose Local Pickup at checkout
  • Select your pickup location
  • Choose your pickup date + time from the available dates below on the calendar
  • Continue to checkout, location address will auto-filL with the address of either Country Folk or Bluff Equipment
  • Make sure shipping method says “Local Pickup”
  • Select “use a different billing address” when entering payment
  • Place your order

You’ll receive a confirmation email, and your order will be ready on your selected date/time.

Pickup Timing

  • No same-day pickup
  • Orders must be placed before 5 PM for next business day pickup

Country Folk Pickup

  • Orders placed Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon → Ready for pickup Tuesday at 11 AM
  • Pickup Hours:

    Tuesday–Friday: 11 AM–4 PM

    Saturday: 10:30 AM–1 PM

    Closed Sun & Mon

    Just walk up to the checkout counter and give your name (: 

Bluff Equipment Pickup (located along U.S. Route 40 in Bluff City)

  • Orders placed Sat & Sun → Ready Monday at 8 AM
  • Pickup Hours:

    Saturday: 8 AM–2 PM

    We have a pickup box outside the front door. If there is poor weather outside we will move the pickup box right inside the front door. Your package will have your name on it (:

14-Day Return Policy For Melba Mae

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Item(s) you’re returning
  • Reason for return

Returns sent without prior approval will be refused.

REFUNDS

Refunds

  • Issued as store credit only
  • Original shipping is non-refundable
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Returns must be postmarked and received within 14 days of delivery
  • Please allow 2–3 business days after we receive your return for processing

Once approved, store credit will be automatically applied to your account.

If a gift card was used, funds are returned to the gift card first. Any remaining balance is issued as store credit.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A RETURN:

Items must be:

  • Unworn & unwashed
  • Scent-free with no stains
  • Tags attached
  • In original condition

Please Note: We will not accept items that have been washed. Please be sure to follow exact washing instructions to ensure the garment remains in good condition.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If you believe that you have received a defective item, please contact us at info@melbamaeboutique.com within 3 business days of receiving your order. Please include

  • Order number
  • Photos of the issue

Please Note: Items cannot be washed, without tags or worn when claimed as damaged.

HOW TO SHIP BACK YOUR RETURN

For clothing, you can utilize the mailer bag or box your order came in if possible.

 Please include your original packing slip with your return order. If you no longer have your packing slip, please write your first and last name and your order number on a piece of paper and include that with your return. You can find your order number in your order confirmation email. 

RETURN ADDRESS

We will provide the return address after your return is approved via email.

LOCAL RETURN DROP OFF

Once you have first been in contact with us about your return, we now offer a local return drop off in Bluff City. Once you have emailed us, we will give you return drop off location, instructions and the available return times. 

Returns may NOT be brought back to Country Folk. This is solely a pickup location. 


Altering or Canceling An Order

 Once a customer has placed an Order, it cannot be modified or canceled.

Discount Codes 

Discount codes must be applied at checkout and can only be used while valid (no extensions). They cannot be applied once the order has been placed. 

Exchanges

Due to items selling quickly, we do not offer exchanges. We can not hold items, therefore we can't guarantee we will have your size available by the time we receive your return. We recommend placing a new order for the item you wish to exchange. Once we receive the original purchase we can then issue a refund.
